Studio Policy

Tuition

Lessons are $25/half hour and $50/hour. An invoice will be sent to you at the end of the month. Payment is expected by the 15th of the following month (ie., October lesson payment is due by the 15th of November).

For weekly lessons, there will be about 4 lessons per month, or around 16-20 lessons per semester.

Missed Lessons

As soon as you become aware of an event which may clash with your regular lesson time, it is important that you notifiy me. This will allow me to offer your time slot to another student who needs a make-up lesson, and gives me time to find a similar cancellation slot to offer you a make-up.

• If you plan to miss or cancel a lesson, please notify me before 8 A.M. the day of the lesson or the lesson fee will be charged.
• Lessons canceled by the teacher shall be made up, refunded, or carried forward.
• Make-up lessons are at the teacher's discretion.
• There will be no lessons on school holidays unless it is a scheduled make-up.
• ​Lessons canceled without prior notice before 8 A.M. the day of the lesson and no-shows will not be made up.
• Lessons missed through the student's non-attendance shall be charged, unless the circumstances, in the teacher's opinion, warrant a special concession (illness, emergency, etc.), in which case the teacher will try to find an alternative time to make up the lesson within the term.
• If a student is more than 15 minutes late, they will be considered a no-show and the teacher will not be required to stay for the remainder of the lesson time.
